I love seeing how others create scrapbook pages and what goes into their thought process. So I thought I would share a bit of my process with you today. I hope you enjoy it!
Usually I start a page with photos, but sometimes I want to play with my supplies. I'm beginning this layout with all I have left of the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection. I've loved this line so much that I want to use every last scrap! Cardstock, patterned paper, ink and thread are all I need to get going.
I also used a border punch on the striped strips, and came up with this background. Plenty of possibilities from here! I have not selected my pictures yet, but the colors give me plenty of ideas.
I make sure my photo, title and journaling have a home, and then I start embellishing.
Here's the final page. I really enjoyed doing a layout about our house in the spring, and think every season should be represented. So I'm considering this the first in a series!
