Wednesday's Rubon Projects

Kerri used the Basic Grey rub-on "life's good" as her title for this LO. She also used a Heidi Grace flower border rub-on to add a little something extra.

Sherri chose a great "Whatever" rub-on title from KI Memories "Pop Culture" collection. She used double sided Flip Flop and SEI papers, added some George stars, and scattered some buttons here and there to create this simple layout.

Jamie used Heidi Swapp rub-ons for the flourish and the diamond border. She also used a digital stamp from this month's sponsor The Stamping Boutique.

Barb used rub-ons to embellish the great big brads that were added to the tags on this 2-page layout.

Tomorrow!!!

Tomorrow we will have info up about our new design team call. Check back in with us on Thursday to get all the details!

Tuesday's Rub-on Projects

Christine created her own personalized ribbon by putting a rub-on onto the ribbon.

Inspired by great weather, Wanda decided to make a spring tissue box cover. She used rub-ons for the cute little bee’s flight pattern.

Dianne had an idea how she wanted this card to look, so she added each rub-on word, one at a time, to create this stunning card focal.

Tanya used rub-ons to add a pattern to plain paper. She simply cut out the different rub-on shapes and placed them on the paper in a visually pleasing pattern.

Corinna used a My Minds Eye rub-on for her title. She also used the Rainy Cynthia Fairy image from this month's sponsor, The Stamping Boutique.

Monday Rubon Projects

Kim decided not to use any patterned paper and let the rub-ons do the work! She used Fancy Pants rub-ons and a tad bit of Stickles to embellish this entire layout.

While cleaning their computer desk, Joni's husband found an 8x10 sheet of "proofs" that had been printed a while back. She cut them into strips and added rub-ons to accentuate the horizontal lines of the layout. All of the white designs are rub-ons, except the date which was done in pen.

Jayma decorated this hanging 6"x6" chipboard page with various Jolee's snowflakes, and rhinestones. The stars are glitter rub-ons from CTMH! Jayma likes them because "They're really fun to use and mess-free."

Heidi used rub-ons to frame the image and inside sentiment on her card. She also added rub-on flowers and vines to accent the flourishes. The Rainy Cynthia digi-stamp is from this month’s sponsor The Stamping Boutique.

Julie used rub-ons for her title and to embellish the photo and journaling box.

This week's challenge is to use something you've had for over a year

This week we want you to dig into that stash and use something that you got over a year ago. It can be a product or tool and you only need to use one item to qualify. The Grand Prize winner will receive two free digi stamps from The Stamping Boutique. The deadline to enter is 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Friday - Use Something You've had for a Year or More

While digging thru her stash Sarah even managed to find some cute ribbon and a heart button she didn't even know she had!

Jessica had very different ideas in mind for each of these products when she bought themforever ago..

Crystal...

Jennifer has had this pattern paper in her stash for almost 2 years. The buttons are at least 10 years old, the scallop border punch is over a year old, and the die cut title is at least 2 years old as well.

Everything Robin used on this page, except the yellow cardstock is between 1-2 years old, and she hasn't used it in over a year.

Wednesday - Use Something You've Had for a Year or More

Kerri’s products range from 5 years old to 1 year old, except her The Stamping Boutique digi stamp!

Sherri used Prima's Dude collection which she’d been saving for almost two years. The title is old, leftover Thickers....just had a few left, and they worked perfectly.

Jamie’s pink cardstock and the pattern paper are both over FOUR years old! It's Chatterbox and she found a whole stash of it in one of my paper bins, you know - too good to actually use!

Amy’s blue paper has been in her stash for over a year and the picture is over 2 years old.

Barb used patterned paper that she's had since 2002 in her "Snow Much Fun" layout. She has also had the Jolee's Boutique snowflakes stickers for about as long. The Snowman Scrapbook Journal is a digi-stamp from The Stamping Boutique.

Tuesday - Use Something You've Had for a Year or More...

Christine used patterned paper and cardstock that were all from her stash.

Tanya’s Maya Road ribbon and ribbon slide have both been sitting in her stash for well over a year.

Dianne's stickers and rub-on used here have been in her stash for 3+ years and the patterned paper is from an ancient slab that she's had forever.

Marjorie purges frequently, but the stamps and twine here are about a year old.

Wanda's monkey sticker on the front of the box , the buttons and the rope string are all well over a year old. She also used the the cute Monkey pocket patootie stamp from The Stamping Boutique.

Corinna’s butterflies are punched with a Martha Stewart punch from a vintage music book that she has had for 2 years, painted with watered-down acrylic paint that she's had for probably 4 years and then painted again with Crystal Stickles that are a year old.

Monday - Use Something You've Had for a Year or more...

Kim used a Making Memories album that she's had for at least two years. She decorated the front with old rub-ons and tied on ribbon from her stash.

Everything on Joni's layout is over 1 year old... from the patterned paper, flowers, journal tag...yep...except the Chick Digi stamp from The Stamping Boutique.

Julie's layout is made up of everything a year or older - pictures, paper, embellishments, etc. All stuff from my stash that I was glad to use.

Amanda's drippy goo punch, ribbon, and a button were all over a year old.

Jayma bought these flowers - love at first sight, but that was forever ago... She didn't want to use them in a scrapbook because they'd get smashed. She finally found the perfect use for them.
